1. What are ShapeDiver's plans and pricing?
ShapeDiver offers various subscription plans to suit different needs. Please refer to our pricing page to learn more.
2. Do you offer any trials?
We provide a free trial for all plans except for Enterprise, which is a paid option.
3. Can I get an extended trial period to test ShapeDiver's capabilities fully for my project?
Our sales team determines this on a case-by-case basis. Please use our contact request form on our website to tell us more about your project and estimated development/testing times.
4. What are credits?
Credits function like tokens or coins, helping us track your account's usage of our servers. Depending on your plan, each ShapeDiver account is granted a specific number of credits that automatically renew every month. Credits are used whenever you perform certain tasks, such as (but not limited to) starting sessions and initiating exports.
Here’s a brief summary of how most of the credit system works:
A session begins whenever one of your models is opened on our platform or an external website. This costs 1 credit, which is deducted from your monthly credit pool.
Each session lasts up to 10 minutes, during which all parameter changes that require less than 10 seconds of computation time are included.
If the session exceeds 10 minutes, a new session will be initiated, and this will cost an additional credit.
Within a session, for parameter changes that take longer than 10 seconds, we will charge 1 credit for every 10 seconds of computation time used until reaching your plan's maximum limit.
For file exports, we will charge 1 credit for every 10 seconds required to generate the file, until reaching your plan's maximum computation limit (30 or 60 seconds).

5. What are Legacy credits?
For clients that started a plan in 2024 or before, we charge credits differently, which only applies to them. If this is your case, you can learn more about Legacy credits here.
6. What plan do I need to use iframe embedding?
All ShapeDiver plans include iframe embedding.
7. What plan do I need to use App Builder?
All ShapeDiver plans include App Builder.
8. What plan do I need to use the Viewer API?
All ShapeDiver plans include Viewer API access.
9. What plan do I need to use the Backend and Platform APIs?
The Business plan includes access to the Backend and Platform APIs.
10 What happens if I exceed my subscription plan limits?
Our platform informs you when you exceed your plan limits, such as computation time and export file size. Depending on your needs, you can either optimize your Grasshopper definition or upgrade your plan to access higher limits.
11. Can I upgrade my ShapeDiver subscription?
Yes, you can upgrade your subscription anytime from the Billing & Plans page on your ShapeDiver account. Alternatively, you can contact our sales team.
12. How do I cancel my ShapeDiver plan?
You can cancel your plan through your account settings. Alternatively, you can contact our sales team.
13. Do you offer any refunds?
We don’t offer refunds for prepaid subscriptions unless in exceptional circumstances. Please contact our sales team to inquire about this process.
